[vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]How did ObstacleFit come about?
The creator of ObstacleFit, Eric Marcina wanted to create a workout style that any person at any age, weight or fitness level could do at home, at the gym or even on the go. The average person does not have an unlimited amount of time on their hands and very few opportunities to break away from their normal busy lifestyle. ObstacleFit can be done as quickly as 6 minutes in the privacy of your own home before leaving for work. It can also be done during a lunch break or maybe even 30 minutes before going to bed.
In order to get the best results in the shortest period of time ObstacleFit uses non-stop functional training in 6 minute modules which translates to a very high cardio rate that does not stop till the counter beeps. The exercises involved to achieve this higher heart rate can be a variety of basic exercises. What makes ObstacleFit fun, challenging and effective is the dynamic element.
6 minutes of extreme cardio would be more than enough to have someone jumpstart their day. Research shows that a quick workout in the morning before going to the office is an effective way to get the body burning calories even for the rest of the day when sitting at a desk.
Eric Marcina has worked with thousands of students who trained early mornings, mid afternoon, dinner time and late evenings. He realized that every student had positive results with weight loss and health, training any time of the day. He encouraged people to workout at the times each individual noticed the best results for their own personal needs. Some people were not early risers and didn’t like to get sweaty before getting to work while others wanted the early workout so they could spend more time with family during the later evenings.
He realized since it wasn’t a time issue but more of a commitment issue he suggested that being exposed to a group environment and having free workout tips readily available on the internet that anyone using the 6 minute high intensity module could quite easily create their own effective workout routine. When they noticed their body adapt they would introduce a new routine to keep the body guessing.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="3746" img_link_large="yes" img_link_target="_blank" img_size="full"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
